California Pattern Holster

The California pattern holster evolved on the gold fields of California in the early 1850’s.

Distinguished by its slim form and contoured to its intended revolver the California pattern holster was the predominant western holster until the advent of the Mexican loop design.

Our early pattern California holsters are styled after those produced by the firm of Main and Winchester.

Constructed from medium weight russet skirting leather we offer a wide variety of tooling options.
