1855 Cap Box
The regulation civil war cap box used unmodified after the war as a pistol cartridge box .We construct our version exactly as the originals with sheepskin lining and inner cover flap
1875 Modified Pistol Cartridge Box
Originally made from surplus civil war cap pouches. The 1875 modification consisted of the removal of the inner flap and sheep skin and the addition of a U.S. embossed on the outer flap.
1861 Carbine Cartridge box
Regulation 20 round cavalry cartridge box used throughout the Civil War and into the early Indian War period.
As per the originals our carbine box comes with drilled wood block insert to hold cartridges. Please specify caliber.
1874 Pattern Dyer Carbine Cartridge Pouch
A soft gusseted , sheepskin lined leather pouch adopted in 1874 to carry Springfield carbine ammunition.
Our Dyer Pouch is manufactured to the specifications of Ordinance Memoranda No.18
McKeever Cartridge Box
The third pattern McKeever cartridge box was adopted as regulation garrison equipment in 1879.
Our McKeever box is made as per the originals to specifications laid out in Ordinance Memoranda No.29 of 1891
